Return and Refund Policy

At Sambika, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your order, you may request a return in accordance with our return and refund policy. Below is everything you need to know about these conditions.

1. Return Period

We offer a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date you receive your order to submit a return request. After this period, we unfortunately cannot accept return requests.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
• The item must be in the same condition in which you received it, unopened and unused.
• The item must be in its original packaging.
• You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase to complete the return.

3. How to Request a Return

In your return request, please include the following information to facilitate the process:
• The invoice or proof of purchase.
• The place of purchase (if applicable).
• A photo of the product, especially if the item has a defect or damage.

Returns are accepted in case of manufacturing defects, but expired products are not eligible for return.

Once your return request has been approved, we will provide you with a prepaid return label along with detailed instructions on how to ship your package. Items sent without prior return approval will not be accepted.

4. Damages and Issues

We recommend checking your order carefully upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product, please contact us immediately. We are committed to assessing the issue and finding an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.

5. Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of some of our products, certain exceptions apply:
Perishable products: Our chocolates are food items, and once opened they cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons.
Customized products: Personalized items, such as special orders or engraved items, cannot be returned.
Other exceptions: We do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards, except in exceptional cases.

6. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest method is to return the item you received and, once your return is approved, place a new order for the product you want.

7. Right of Withdrawal (United Arab Emirates Law)

In accordance with UAE law, you have a 7-day right of withdrawal after receiving your order to return a product, provided that the item is in its original condition, unopened, and in its original packaging. However, this law does not apply to perishable items such as our chocolates, which cannot be returned once opened due to their food nature.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to return the item within 7 days of receiving your order. A receipt or proof of purchase will be required to complete the return.

8. Refunds

After receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you whether your refund request has been approved or rejected. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
